We start by looking at the room and at how you actually use it. Where the light comes from through the day. Where two people end up standing when the kitchen is busy. Whether the bin wants to be beside the sink or beside the prep bench. How much of the mess you want to push through a door into a pantry. That conversation settles the layout long before anything is drawn.
From there we draw the kitchen in 3D, so you can see the finished room, walk around the island and change your mind about a drawer bank while changing it is still free. When the drawing is signed off, the cabinetry is built in our Holden Hill factory and finished on our own paint line, in-house, which is how the colour and the sheen stay consistent across the doors, the panels and the pantry behind them.
Benchtops, splashbacks, handles and hardware are chosen in our selection rooms, where you can hold the samples beside each other in daylight rather than guess from a swatch card. Before the job leaves us it is set up to scale on the factory floor and checked, then we install it ourselves.
